  • Perform the setting after completing the following work.

    • Fax function activation.(105 Option FAX Port Setting)

    • Firmware Update (Firmware Update)
      *Note the firmware will not be applied to the additional G3 fax board until after the fax function has been activated.

  • Make sure the fax function is enabled and ready for use before starting the setting work.
    • G3-1 (LINE1) Confirmation Procedure
      • "Fax" icon is displayed on the home screen.

    • G3-2 (LINE2) and G3-3 (LINE3) Confirmation Procedure
      • Tap [Job/Status] > [Consumables/Others] > [Additional] on the home screen, and confirm the status of the additional G3 fax board is displayed as "Waiting".
        *The figure below shows the state of G3-1 (LINE1) only.

      • It will be displayed as "unusable" if the firmware is not updated.

Port 2 and 3 settings: [Setting][General Settings][Fax Settings][Basic Settings][Extension Line Settings][G3-2] or [G3-3]

Note / 補足
  • The fax setting wizard works only for Ch1.
  • The Fax function diagnosis works only for Ch1.
