# Saddle Unit Initial Adjustment Procedure

#Three Folding Paper Size Setting

Note / 補足

The default paper size differs depending on the destination, with Letter size set for North America and A4 size set for other destinations. If you use a paper size different from the initial setting for each destination, refer to the following procedure to change the paper size setting and adjust the paper guide position.

Overview: Switch the tri-fold paper size (A4 or Letter).

1. Start the installation mode.
   
2. Select [02 Initial Settings and Operation Check]
   
3. Select [2040201 Three Folding Paper Size Setting].
   
4. Set the paper size, select the desired paper size (A4 or Letter), and press [OK].

   
   

   
   

#Aligning the Paper Guides

1. Raise the V2 cover (A).
   
2. Remove the 2 screws and remove the cover (A).

3. Loosen the two screws of the paper guide (A).
   
4. Align the top edge (A) of the paper guide with the size of the paper to be used, and tighten the two loosened screws to fix the paper guide.
   
5. Install the cover (A), secure it with two screws, and lower the V2 cover (B).

#Operation Check

When installing the saddle unit, check the following operations.

• Saddle Stitch Stack
• Bi-fold Stack
• Tri-fold Stack

1. Start the service support mode.
   
2. Select [02 Installation Setting / Operation Check].
   
3. Select the [Operation Check(Floor FIN)].
   
4. Select [Saddle Stitch Stack].
5. Select [Feed Tray].
   
6. Select the paper tray to use.
   
7. Select [Paper Size].
   
8. Select the paper size to use.
   
9. Select [Number of Sheets].
   
10. Input the number of sheets to feed and press [OK] .
    

11. Press [Execute] and check the operation result.
